I Did My Best to Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
Day after pizza night. One of these people is not like the other....(thank God, these people look like idiots in their paper crowns. Can I get another family, please?)
Mom had visions of Tyler looking sweet and cute wearing his turkey headband, just like the kid in the magazine....
...that kid must have been drugged or very, very slow because these feathers were not staying on T's head...
...until he finally got distracted enough by Elmo Bird to not notice he was wearing the damn thing. Next year we'll buy antlers.
Smart cookie! Tyler enjoys gnawing the head off of one of Nana's gingerbread men.
It's 5:30am! Time to go outside! We don't need no stinking coats or clothes or anything, come on!
T shows his peeps how to swing and eat sand.
We lucked out with the weather over everyone’s visit as well. It was downright balmy before everyone came out but settled into a perfect Thanksgiving weather once everyone got here (clear, warm, a little breezy, even rained once! Of course, today is downright hot and nothing says Christmas like bikinis and surfers) which made for some great beach days and sunsets on the front porch. Tyler loves to hang outside now and prefers his rock and twig collection to the numerous expensive toys he has indoors. He loved showing his visitors how he plays in the sand, how he runs on the sand, trips and does a face plant, and how he can put a rock on top of his fake bunnies’ heads. We spend more time at the park now that T has made his love for the outdoors known (quite vocally) and can manage some of the playground equipment.
Contemplative at the park. Hmmm, should I try the slide next, or the swings?
